Expertise in Motion
Your physical therapy experience at Sonoran Physical Therapy will be a unique one. We recognize that no two people are alike. Your personal history (story), character and body build are one of a kind. We take time to understand your concerns and to explain the best treatment program for you. Each person who deals with neck or back pain, shoulder or knee pain, weakness or balance loss has a special set of circumstances. Each body type, pattern of movement, spinal alignment and habits is different for everyone. Through a thorough evaluation of your problem(s) and by working with your physician, we develop specialized treatment plans to help each patient reach their goals.
We integrate soft tissue techniques that release and mobilize structural restrictions so the patient can have a greater potential for movement. Then by incorporating specific exercises, we are able to get the body to realize it can move in a better balanced and proper movement pattern which helps the patient achieve greater function.
Most importantly with our therapy comes education. We will educate you about the specifics of your problem and the course of action to correct and hopefully prevent it from reoccurring. Our ultimate goal is to teach you how to move forward, so you can prevent future problems and get the most out of your life after therapy is completed. Most importantly, physical therapy is beneficial in decreasing your level of discomfort as well as increasing the level of activity you are able to tolerate. This mix is essential for those who are attempting to avoid surgery, those who have had surgery and simply those who want restoration of their activity levels.
